Now4Forever: Power of Play

 “You did that on purpose!” No, I didn’t; it was on accident.” How many times have you heard that as a teacher, a parent, a sibling or a friend of children? In our time together, we’re going to discuss play and the impact it has on us as children and adults – whether we’re doing it on purpose with intentionality and planning or if play evolved spontaneously and was an unexpected but valuable addition to an ordinary day. We’ll also explore some exciting things researchers are discovering about children’s play, and we’ll think together about helpful resources for promoting play as the way that we all learn effectively.
